Way2Go: Training and Equipping Young Accessibility Ambassadors for the European Projects
(March 2023 – February 2025)
About the Project
The Way2Go Project is an exciting initiative aimed at fostering inclusion and accessibility across Europe. This project strives to create a Europe-wide network through a fully accessible and user-friendly online platform. The platform is designed specifically for disadvantaged youth and organizations that want to collaborate on European projects, ensuring that their work is fully accessible to all.
A major goal of the project is to build capacity in the field of inclusion by developing youth-friendly and accessible training modules. These modules will be used in training camps to educate and empower young people, who will become Youth Accessibility Ambassadors. These ambassadors will play a key role in ensuring that inclusion is at the forefront of youth work and European projects.
The project also aims to engage the broader community and raise awareness of the importance of accessibility through outreach campaigns. Over the course of 24 months, Way2Go will deliver three main outcomes: an online platform and app, a cohort of skilled and trained Youth Accessibility Ambassadors, and a functional network connecting project seekers of mixed abilities with inclusive organizations. This network will support and promote fully accessible Erasmus+ and ESC projects, making inclusion and accessibility integral parts of the European project landscape.
Way2Go is committed to breaking barriers and ensuring that youth of all abilities can participate meaningfully in international projects, paving the way for a more inclusive Europe.
